How Our Beetle Cleaning Process Works
Dermestid beetles are nature’s most effective and gentle way to clean skulls. Unlike boiling, our method reaches every detail without risking damage to thin bones or nasal cavities.
Steps
1. We arrange getting your specimen
2.Our beetle colony carefully removes all tissue.
3.We then degrease the specimen
4. After degreasing the specimen is whitened and any cosmetic touch ups are completed.
The result is a bright, detailed skull ready for display.
